Gel plate card
I have realised that my blog is a little unloved of late, and that makes me sad. I have been so busy with classes and work, and well just creating, that I have forgotten to document a little bit!!
Dianne and I taught at our yearly Kaszazz Retreat in March, and this was one of the projects I taught. It is card 2 in a set, made with a Gel Plate background and lots of stamping and stenciling layers.
I just love this type of creating!!!

Blind Scrapping challenge
Hi there, this month, Kraft Plus hosted a Blind Scrap challenge. I love these challenges! Basically, you are given a bunch of materials to use, some instructions, but no image of what the layout should look like. Once everyone has completed their pages, we all upload them and check out the variety of interpretations! I even got my friend Ange to join in!
Here's my finished product:
I used the Crate Paper Hello range of papers and nearly all of my embellishments are fussy cut from the elements in the papers. Mainly Kaszazz Stamps on there and the washi tape served the purpose of joining two bits of Kraft cardstock together as I had run out of full 12 x 12" sheets.
And here's my Design Team layout from this month, where we had a weaving challenge:
See the inspiration board below!
This one was so fun. I made some Geli Plate prints with Dylusions paints, cut them into strips, wove then and then made circle die cuts. I used Uniquely Creative Kit club dies, in black, and the light bulbs were cut from my left over prints.

Kraft Plus Challenge June
Hi all,
it's been awhile since my last post. I'm finding it hard to keep up with my Social Media outlets at the moment, due to being sick, but thought I would leave a little love on my blog today. I have a layout here for my Design Team sample over at Kraft Plus, this month. It's soooo inspiring this month and all about Dr. Seuss!! here's the inspiration board:
So you can either be inspired by the board, or by anything Dr Seuss! here's my page, (and a few close ups), which I had the perfect photo for!!!
My kids are both good readers, so the photo was from book week a few years ago and I chose a quote to go with that theme, and made some embellishments using a TCW stencil and Dylusions paint. I finished those off with some bow ties made on my Ezy Press and a Kaszazz die.
Thanks for looking :)

Kraft Plus March challenge
Hi all, gosh, it's been a few months since my last post. So much has been happening, I have been run off my feet. I started a new job, so less days to create now, but making the most of today which is the first day I have had to myself in months!!!!
Today there's a new reveal over at Kraft Plus. This month, we have a sketch for you to be inspired by, and you need to add some fussy cutting on your project. Head to the blog to find out all the details and the rules! Here's the sketch:
And here's my Design Team take on the challenge this month. I have made a card, using the Uniquely Creative Kit Club February left overs. (I was lucky to be a guest designer over there in January & February.)
My fussy cutting, includes the stamped, star images, and all the little layers of patterned papers and card stock strips. Some of the Hesagons also. Here's a lttile close up for you.
I used the embossing folder from the Feb Creative kit, as a stamp, with some Oxide ink, to add some interest to my background. The sweet little enamel dots are from Ruby Rock it.
Hope you find time to play along this month!!!

Some Project shares and Happy New Year 2018
Gosh, I really can't believe that we are at the beginning of a brand New Year...how did it happen so fast??? 2017 was filled with many highlights for me, but a few crappy moments aswell. I'm hoping 2018 is going to help my family with a major goal, but of course, like anyone, I wish us and all my friends and family, good health and happiness. And there's no better way to keep happy than crafting!!! So here's a few Design Team projects I haven't shared yet, cause time just got away over the silly season...
This one was December's moodboard challenge over at Kraft Plus.
November post for Memory Maze!!

Getting into the Christmas Spirit
Hi all, well I was going to do a scrapbook layout about Christmas and then the mojo just went missing. Sooo tired am I. You can tell it's the silly season and we are on the go here at our place this last few weeks. Anyway, so I came up with these cards, using some chipboard from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
I used the Winter Wonderland range of papers from Kaszazz, some die cuts, stamps, ribbon and twine, Glitter Stickles and embossing powder, (all Kaszazz.).
Hope I've inspired you to get some Christmas cards made!!!
TFL, Tania
