Goodbye Scrappingclearly, hello Kraft Plus September Challenge

Hi all! A whole month has flown by since my last post...too fast, this year is going way too fast!!! I have let go of one of my Design Team positions to try and free up a little more time for myself. I said goodbye to Scrappingclearly, last month, it was a fab 18 months with them, and on their blog, you can see my post of a collection of my favourite projects created using their products:
https://scrapping-clearly.blogspot.com.au/2017/08/time-to-say-goodbyefrom-tania.html

Today I'm sharing my latest layout for Kraft Plus! This one was very inspiring, it's all about Bees and Hexagons, check out the prompt board here:

Here's my take on this fab challenge!!!

I used lots of Kaszazz goodies on here, the hexagon die was perfect for this challenge, I cut out my photo into a large hexagon and with the left over bits from the photo, I made one of them into another embellishment, to repeat the water image. (See below)

Stamps from Kaszazz, Stencil from Kaisercraft, Chipboard word from Memory Maze. Patterned papers from Echo Park, and there's some Colourblast, Colourpaste on there too!

Thanks for looking!!!

Here's a few close ups and for all the information and products used, head over to the Scrappingclearly blog!

Thanks for visiting!!

Scrappingclearly May moodboard

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing my Design Team post over at Scrappingclearly, with some cards for the May moodboard. I used the Atlas Collection papers from Pink Paislee, which I really love!!! Here is the moodboard!

I love the Autumn colours this month, and these papers just worked perfectly!!!

The papers have a cool shipping tag design, so I cut some pieces out and made my own tags, with the Stampin Up tag punch, some eyelets, which I've had in my stash for years!!! (Win!) Then I used some twine which was a FREEBIE with the Scrapbooking Memories mag, a few years back! All cardstock is from Kaszazz, and the washi tape is from Teresa Collins.

For my '50' card, (all my friends are turning 50 this year!!) I used the Atlas papers as a background, and then stamped a Kaszazz water skiier image, and white embossed on black card. Then broke out the Distress Oxide inks, which I am playing with a bit lately!! I was aiming for the impression of water, waves or droplets, and I think it worked reasonable well! I flicked some Dylusions spray and mica sprays on top and it looks very shiny in the light!

The alphas are from Amy Tangerine!
Hope you can find time to visit over at SC and play along with the challenges this month. TFL!!!

Easter Cards for Scrappingclearly!!

Hi and Happy Easter to you all! I am having a quiet time home with the kids! Hubby has gone camping, and we are just relaxing here together after a very long couple of weeks. I started a new job and have been working 2 jobs, up until my notice finished with my previous employer and I was totally exhausted!!! Some crafting time was much needed! So today I'm up on the Scrappingclearly blog with a Design Team post of some Easter Cards, made using some Fancy Pants- Golden Days papers and embellishments, and some cool Vicki Boutin products!!

I played along with the moodboard this month, which was a mix of Autumn tones!!

 No automatic alt text available.

I used the Art Crayons to colour my bird stamps, and they are great when mixed with water on a craft sheet. I flicked some paint drops onto one of my cards with a paint brush. I also used the Acrylic Paints to add some drops to my cards, the paints by Vicki Boutin are quite thick, love them!

I made a small tag, with some left overs and found a cute little bunny in the Golden Days ephemera pack.

Hope you can check out the moodboard over at Scrappingclearly this month and play along, there's also a sketch challenge to inspire you and you could win a voucher to the store!!!
Enjoy your Easter!!!

Scrappingclearly February sketch

Hi there!!!! I feel like I have been doing well with my blog posting of late, lots of projects to share, hope I can keep up the pace!!!
Today I have a layout for you, LOVE THIS BOY!! What a cutie my little man was, he was about 3 here! (Can't for the life of me find the pic on the computer to tell me the correct date, but I know it's either 2008 or 2009. I'm not going to stress, cause I remember taking the photos and exactly where we were at the time!!!)
This is my last DT project using the Fancy Pants, Golden Days collection for Scrappingclearly!! I have another gorgeous kit, which I can't wait to share with you next month!!!

Apart from the kit, I used some Kaszazz cardstock, Carolee's Creations tiny alphas, Kaszazz & other brand punches, a cut file, (using the negative piece), and some colorbox ink, to swipe around the inner edges of the heart to highlight!!!

Thanks as always for visiting!!!

Heidi Swapp Travel themed book pages

Hi everyone! Well, I have hit the ground running for 2017, with my crafty projects. Every now and then, when I am time poor, I try and opt for something a little less time consuming with my memory keeping. I got this great Heidi Swapp Travel themed book from Scrappingclearly, and I have started documenting some pages from my recent trip to Adelaide. I have been sharing these on the Scrappingclearly blog for my Design Team posts.

It's such a simple way of memory keeping, I love it. I've just used some Heidi Swapp washi stickers, sheer stickers and cardstock stickers, some paper off cuts from the Chickaniddy 365 range and the sheer stickers that came with the book. The photos just slip in to the 4 x 4" slot, you can cut down your 4x6" pics! I love the journal lines, it encourages me to tell more of the story. We had such a great time, lots of quality family time, and I can't wait to add more of these stories to my pages!

TFL!!!

I love the gold embellies from the C'est La Vie ephemera pack! There's also a few touches of Heidi Swapp on there. (The gold acetate word above, the lace below.)

Hope you like my cards!

Merry Christmas Santa!

Merry Christmas everyone in Blogland!! Hope you have a fun-filled day, with lots of yummy food and Christmas cheer. We will celebrate Jack's 11th birthday this morning, make a fuss, give him his birthday presents and then move onto the Christmas celebrations. We try and make it a big deal for him, as hard as it is sharing your birthday with Christ. This year will be a very quiet little family Christmas for us, and that's ok.

Here is Design Team layout I created for SCRAPPINGCLEARLY, based on the sketch for this month. Here is the sketch:

Here is my layout created using the gorgeous Heidi Swapp Christmas range- Oh What Fun!

There's a little Smooch Spritz ,(silver), behind the photo layers, I have a tiny bit left in the spray bottle and I'm making it last as long as possible!

I did some fussy cutting from the 12x12" papers. (holly) Not my usual forte, but liked the way it turned out.

Finished off with some computer journaling in red, and swiped the edges of the strips with some red chalk ink!
I have so many more Christmas photos that need scrapping, will have to make the most of the rest of these very cute papers.
