Hi all, hope you are having a lovely weekend and getting some scrappy fun time in!! Today I am up on the Scrappingclearly Blog with a Project Life spread using the gorgeous Dear Lizzy HAPPY PLACE collection from American Crafts!!!
I don't do alot of PL pages, but these pretty papers with their 6x4" and 3x4" cards really inspired me to do so. Also helps to come across the photos to go with it, and make it all fall into place. There's also some Maggie Holmes Bloom embellishments on there and Heidi Swapp alphas and die cut word for my title! I love the cute little stamp set from the Happy Place range, which is how I made the sunglasses and camera embellies, I just added a touch of Distress Ink with a water brush on them to mimi the hand-cut butterflies from the Maggie Holmes paper.
I made a little transparent pocket with the Dear Lizzy specialty paper and some Studio Calico sequins. I haven't bought myself a fuse tool yet, although I have wanted one for some time, so I closed the pocket together at the top with a little glossy accents which you can't see, that worked a treat.
If you want to find out more of the details, head on over to the Scrappingclearly Blog, where you can also find a link to the shop and links in my post to all the yummy products I have used!

Scrappingclearly DT post for the June moodboard
Hi all, I have a post on the Scrappingclearly blog today with this fun layout, using the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection, available in store here:
I took my inspiration from the June Moodboard, and think I have covered nearly all the elements in the image.

I had fun with some paint dabbers and Gold Marquee Love tape from Heidi Swapp. There's lots of paper layering and fussy cut butterflies from the BLOOM paper, Gold Foil Thickers, yum, and a few other bits and pieces from the Bloom collection!
The journaling on the front of the layout tells you, I made a boo boo and scrapped the wrong title for these images, that were actually taken on Christmas night, also my son's birthday! Ah, what the hey, it was a celebratory day and I have written on the back of the layout and told the story behind the photos!!! If you want to know more about the products used, go along to the Scrapping Clearly blog to read my detailed post! Thanks for visiting!!!

Scrap the Girls my new DT gig!!!
Gosh, It's so hard keeping secrets in the Scrapping World. But thankfully, today I can reveal that I have a spot on the Scrap the Girls Design Team, and I am totally thrilled about it!!! Today is the BIG reveal of the new Design Team, along with our takes on the June moodboard, which I totally fell in love with!! Here it is:

The sponsor for this month's prize for this challenge is D-Lish Scraps. I love their Just add paper kits and had purchased the SUNNY DAZE KIT, which was perfect for this Moodboard. From this kit, I used Washi tape, doily, flair, journal spots, bitty bag, sequin waste and flowers!
Other products used on my layout were Dylusions sprays, (for the background), (on Kaszazz cardstock), Colour Blast, Colour paste in Sunshine...oooh so in love with this!!! A Kaisercraft stencil, patterned papers by 7 Dots, Heidi Swapp & Kaisercraft. I did a bit of stash busting which is always good and used some Basic Grey rub ons that have been in my stash for ever! (Some of them I rubbed onto a transparency sheet to make 3D embellishments with them.) I was also happy to use another chipboard frame from Heidi Swapp, love them, but always have trouble adding them to a layout!!!
My journaling is hidden in the itty bitty bag, I've pulled it out to show you, front and back!!!
TFL, and stay tuned for more DT creations from me, and why not go and have a play along with this month's moodboard challenge!

My Kraft Plus challenge entry
I have been frustrated this week, back and neck troubles have kept me away from my happy place at my craft desk. I thought I would try something smaller for this challenge, so I made a card. Here is the inspiration board from Kraft Plus...

Wow, what a fantastic image!!! But, it overwhelmed me a little. Once I sat down and looked at it, and individual clusters, I could let the inspiration take over. I started with a Gesso background, a bit of stamping and then some Colour Blast colour paste. I received the cool ship, chipboard piece & travel tape from a pocket letter swap, and used lots of twine in the background. Then just stamped all my travel words in different colour Archival inks. Hope you like it!!!

I'm an ICADian!!!!
I'm a little excited to be starting a new challenge!! Yes, another one, but this one is really, really cool. The challenge of ICAD, (index-card-a-day), has been running once a year for 61 days for the last 6 years, by the lovely Tammy at DAISY YELLOW ART. The idea is to use a packet of index cards, either 5x3" or 4x6" and make some free art on them, 1 per day! How cool is that for us time poor peeps. A little bit of something just for us every day. Experiment, be inspired by others and have fun...love that idea! It starts on June 1st and I couldn't help myself last night, I had a bit of a warm up and made this, using Blended Distress inks, sprayed with a Perfect Pearl mist, stamped with a Kaisercraft Stamp and Archival Ink. I also used a Kaisercraft stencil and some Archival ink for the pink dots! It made me happy, I went to bed feeling accomplished!
Go and check it out if you're up for the challenge. There is also a FB page where everyone is going to share their creations!!!!

Happy International Scrapbooking Day!!!
Hi all!!! A few things going on today, challenges everywhere and I'm still not feeling a hundred percent, after the dreaded virus I've had....but I did manage to teach a class today to celebrate NSD!!! I had a gorgeous group of 8 ladies in class today, this is the page I created for them!!!
Lots of Mixed Media layers on there, but the piece de resistance was this gorgeous paper pieced mannequin, using a few different stamps from Kaszazz!
Other layers include: stamping, Dylusions sprays, Distress paints, Metallic Distress Stain, texture paste, Alcohol Ink Markers and the black dribbly bits are from my Archival ink refill bottle!!!
