Fun with Distress Markers

Thought I would have a play at the weekend with a Demo Card from Kaszazz.
this great tie dye effect was achieved by colouring my craft sheet with a selection of the markers, then spraying the coloured rainbow with water and swishing some white card through the rainbow. Also applied markers direct to stamp, several colours, for the soft background butterflies and then stamped another butterfly with Staz on and coloured in with markers and Aquash water brush.Love this!

rollagraph fun

haven't had my rollagraph stamper out for awhile, but the need for diy wrapping paper has come about lately with our mountain of birthdays all in the same month. i used the new roll of kaszazz kraft paper, the leaf nouveau wheel and the henna ink cartridge to make a quick and lovely background on the paper. For the card, I swapped ink cartridges and put the watermark one in, rolled over the background paper and embossed with Tea Dye Distress embossing powder. Then added a few bits and pieces. Finished off pressies with some thin satin, gold trim ribbon. my Mum,s turning 70 next week, hope she likes it.

Saturday Sketch – January #2

Just joined the Saturday sketch challenge over at the Kaisercraft Blog.http://www.kaisercraft.com.au/blog/page/3/ Hope you like my take on the sketch. I have always loved kaisercraft products, the new ranges are simply to die for. Here's the sketch:
And here's my layout:

I have used papers from the Kaisercraft "Little Toot" collection. All embellishments have been fussy cut from the papers.I also used kaisercraft rub ons and basics rub on words. Other brands were some Kaszazz twine, A.C. Thickers, and Carolee's Creations alphas, stamps, ink and a perma marker. I love this photo of Jack. i took it at the Devil's Marbles in August. He is no longer a fan of having his picture taken, so I either get silly faces or very solemn looks. He had a big hat on, and his eyes are perfectly to die for!

Scrapping my family Christmas pics

I usually do the Traditional, family Christmas pic in November each year, and this year with our travels, moving in to another new place, it just got away from me. however, I did manage to set up the tripod on Chrissy Day and finally get some super wonderful family pics. Even a great brother and sister one, which are few and far between these days. It helped having wonderful window light to grab a few catchlights in the eyes. I couldn't resist but scrap them with the aid of the gorgeous Kaiser paper I picked up at Spotlight!
here's the family pic fave:

And here's my layout!

SORRY, I'M OFF TO BE PUBLISHED, WATCH THIS SPACE!

Love the stripey ribbon from Kaszazz, and my Prima flowers which are getting very low.I have some hidden journalling up the top on a tag I made, and I have also thrown in some hand made vellum flowers! TFL.
