Here is a recent 2 Hour workshop, 2H1071- Notes of Love cards! It's a beginner suitable workshop. Using stamping techniques and blending with distress inks. you also get to play with the wave blade on the paper trimmer, I love the ease of use of the interchangeable blades. A great way to use the small index print images that often come with your pics, or print in your photo editing program. Small and cute. A range of uses for these cards. Wedding invites or Thank you's, change the theme to party invites, general thank yous, and baby shower, or baby arrival cards with photo of your brand new bub! If you would like any info on products used or to enquire aabout a workshop for these cards, please email me: tan.dave@bigpond.com

Another occassion card!

Wow, i seem to have many occassions to make cards for at the mo. This one is a Wedding Inability! I'm quite a fan of journal clusters, and made one as a feature for this card, using a mixture of brands, the card ,polka dot brad and paper are Kaszazz. I also made a few more distress tags for a friend to pop in her card. I just love all the Tim Holtz Distress products, but finding more and more uses for the ink pads. They are so versatile, love them!!!

Card for a friend!!

I have been flicking through my old magazines for inspiration and came up with this little card yesterday! I masked the edges and sponged a chalk ink background, stamped a vine a few times and paper pieced it in Vivid inks. Wanted a subtle hue of grey for the sentiment and bird cage, so used my Ancient Page Flannel Gray ink.I stamped the bird in colorbox pigment ink and then used some Crackle Accents over the top, and finished off with a little satin, ribbon bow. ALL PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FROM KASZAZZ. Hope you like and I hope my friend likes!!! Thanks for looking,
Tania

Catching up & great news!

I was so organised before we left to come to Darwin and got many photos printed thinking I will be able to catch up on all my layouts! So far, I haven't really accomplished many layouts at all, the only ones are for my travel album, which i am using all Kaszazz products for, but I don't want to share until it's all finished, but maybe if I do start sharing, I will feel like I have accomplished something... Stay tuned! Anyway, after we attended the 70th Anniversay of the Bombing of Darwin Ceremony this morning, we had some chill out time at home and I felt like getting arty with paint or ink. So I got stuck into my Smooch Spritz, and Smooch accent ink and started to create a background for my page. The colours came from the pics, Green, blue and yellow, with a hint of orangy/red. I used some Distress ink to darken the edges of the photos against the white, and a Fancy Pants, glitter cut that I have had in my stash for way too long.Other supplies were Nikki Sivils papers which were FREE in a mag, and some rub ons from kaiser and Fancy Pants. The alphas are thickers, and I got out the trusty Permaball pen, as i feel my page is not finished without a border. I even got the thread out! Hope you like!

Some great Kaszazz news too! Apart from all the great 2 for 1 specials this month, Kaszazz now have SB Essentials Cardstock available in Packs of 25. So if you have a fave colour, or are doing workshops which call for a few of the same colour, you can now save 10% on buying them in bulk packs. Let me know if you would like more info, or how to place an order! have a great week!

Anniversary card

Well, my day was a bit out of sinc today as I had Taylah home sick from school. 3rd week and loads of kids are coming down with colds and sore throats. I did manage to finally finish a card I've been working on for my parents 25th Wedding Anniversary coming up soon! I used all Kaszazz products, except for the chipboard numbers, which are Bella Chipz, which i did emboss with Kaszazz silver embossing powder. I used the Ezy Press die cutting and embossing machine to cut my scallops, and lace border, and tried a different technique, but simple one for flowers, by cutting strips of card stock and winding them around my tweezers. I used Glossy Accents to secure them at the back onto a small punched out circle of card and to secure the end of the swirl. Hope you like. For inspiration, I can't take all the credit, as i saw a card i loved in an issue of Papercrafts magazine, by Designer Betsy Veldman. As usual, I put my own spin on a few things!

I HAVE ONLY JUST NOTICED THE CUTE LITTLE MATCHING HEARTS ON THE FRIDEG  WHEN I WAS EDITING THE PICS.
MY INSPIRATION FOR THE CARDS CAME FROM CARDMAKING, STAMPING & PAPERCRAFT MAG VOL 17 NO.12. THANKS TO THERESE CALVIRD, AND SUE SMITH. I OF COURSE DID MY OWN TAKE ON THE MALE ONE, USING ALL KASZAZZ PRODUCTS. HAVE BEEN HAVING FUN WITH PUNCHES, STAMPS, GLOSSY ACCENTS & GLITTER. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!

Tags and Mud Crabs

How are the two related you may ask??? Well, I had the camera out to take pics of What's on my desk this week! (just finished some tags I've been working on!) Got the images, and then Hubby walks through the door with a big bag and a big grin. he's been out in the tinny with a friend and they had a very eventful evening and morning with the crab pots! he's loving getting a bit of fishing and crabbing acrtion in here in Darwin! So of course, I had to take multiple pics of the catch, and let me tell you there was the biggest Muddie I've ever seen among that lot! We even managed to get Jack to have a hold and a brag. So without further ado, I will put the crab pics up first so I can give you a lengthier explanation about the tags!

As far as my tags go, here are the details. All products are Kaszazz products. Ready made tags, played with the brand new striped ribbons, love the way you can work these into a fancy knot or bow! I also had a play with the Tim Holtz distress stains, distress inks, and stamped some images with Ancient Page Flannel Grey aswell as Coal black. I used parts of some stamps, and stamped partially on the tags. There was some masking techniques thrown in, and I've highlighted the clock stamp with some of the New, Crackle Accents, which is awesome, it gives a stamped image a real 3D effect! My glittery Eiffel Tower was embellished with some Fairy Dust, in Pralines & Cream.
I am very happy with my results, and hope my Team members will be too, as some of them will be receiving these as pressies in their mail soon :)
If you would like any more information on Products and techniques used in this project, please contact me, I would love to inspire you! tan.dave@bigpond.com

Just got january under control and it's February already.

Gosh, this has been a busy few weeks, got the kids off to their new school, which wasn't all at easy, with a little grade '1'er,not happy, tears for three days, and they changed his classroom on the 2nd day which didn't help.
But,all seems good now on the 4th day. I feel a little shell shocked, so nothing like some more kaszazz news to keep me grounded. The Feb Promotions are upon us already, check them out and give me a hoy if you have any queries regarding products, promotions, workshops, to view the catalogue or placing an order. Have a great Feb everyone.
