Kraft Plus Challenge February Mood Board

Well, I have just scraped in with the end of month deadline for the Kraft Plus Challenge Feb. Mood Board.
This is their debut as a challenge blog and I wish them well, what a great concept!
The mood board had great summery colours, see below! It's called MANGO BREEZE.



And here is my take on their yummy mood board!

I created a background with some bubble wrap and acrylic paint, then sprayed some Dylusions over that. Added some stamping and embellishment clusters, some Simple Stories papers teamed with some gorgeous 7 dots and a gorgeous photo of my now 12 yr old girl, who was 8 months old in this pic!

Scrapping with the kids!!!

Hi all! I have been lucky enough to land a weekly teaching role at my boy's Primary School, one afternoon a week for their Extra Curricular Activities. So of course I put my hand up for papercrafts!!! This term I am teaching 5-8 yr olds, and I just love what they come up with each week. Here's a snippet of last Wednesday's creations by my little peeps!!!

Love how the one's who didn't bring photos, still managed to make a great page!!!

New Beginnings!!!

Well, sadly it appears that my guest DT gig over at KK was over before I got a chance to begin. I was in a  bit of shock when I read all about it on the FB page.(Not a nice way to find out, but que sera as they say!!!)
So, moving on.....I went from one crappy day to one fabulous day making plans with friends and sharing ideas and inspiration.I will have some better news to share soon!

Experimenting with Backgrounds!

So this is my desk this weekend! You should've seen the kitchen bench last night. I couldn't stop once I started playing. So many mediums to try out! There were many successes and many failures, but it was really fun! It's all in the name of my very 1st Guest DT post over at Kreative Koncepts Mixed Media Blog.
