Today we have started the process of finishing off the garden edge beside the pool. It's one of those things that you keep looking at and getting frustrated about! We had a heap of dirt delivered this morning and now Jack is asleep I wil go out and see what magic I can weave!!!

Our Easter Break

We had a lovely Easter, the swimming pool was finished and filled by lunchtime Good Friday, we spent nearly the whole weekend hanging out at home. we did the taditional easter egg hunt on Sunday after the EB had been! On Monday we took the kids to the Rainforest Habitat to feed the animals. I did something a little off the cuff and draped a snake around my neck while she got very up close and personal! I didn't mind her at all until she started licking my face! That was a little over the top and I said bye bye! Dave stood about 10 feet back with the kids and took photos, he is not a fan of snakes!
Scrapping report- have completed another digi layout this week and have just been ispired by a t-shirt to do a layout with paint and other goodies, for now, here is the latest digi of Jack and his cousin Hudson at the beach in Adelaide!

We are finally swimming!!! YIPPEE!!!

Hey, it's been a long time in the making, but the pool is finally finished!!! We turned the hose off today at 3.15pm, and she was full!!! (By that stage we had already been for a few swims.) Dave was so excited when he got home from work yesterday, he couldn't help himself, he grabbed the kids and off they went to play while it was filling! Then today, you couldn't get any of them out! We even had friends, (quite a few), visit, just to check it out and have a quick dip! What a great present from the easter bunny!! (HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE). HERE'S A FEW PICS TO SHARE!

Thought I'd just make a quick post as it's been a few days and I haven't been able to do much as I have a very painful neck injury!( I actually think it's from lack of excercise, loads of scrapping and time spent at the computer.)
Pool update-We are nearly there, should be swimming in our pool next week! had council approval yesterday, the guys were here draining the water out today and cleaning it up ready for pebbles tomorrow! It's so exciting, it's been a long-winded affair, but will be well worth the wait!
Kids are great, Taylah rec. another award at school last week! She is loving it!
Jack is still not a good sleeper, it's really taking it's toll!
