Olga fizzles and fun at LSBS

Well, we were so organised today waiting for cyclone Olga to hit the coast with a bang and late this arve, we found out she hit the coast up the road at the Daintree and there was not much indication of her being a cyclone at all. Thank goodness. I was up at 5.30am with the kids and we actually made a record in our house this morning. Dave didn't get up until 1 hr after us.
Dave had a great start to his 46th birthday when we all forgot about it and he had been outside pulling down the shade sail and working away. Once we remebered, it was chocolate for breakfast and birthday cake for morning tea! :)
We spent the day inside mostly, playing under home made tents on the mattress and making shrinky dinks.
I've been over to the forum at LSBS, www.littlescrapbookshop.com.au tonight to see what this year's challenge is going to be. Check it out over to the right. Can't wait to get stuck in...
