What better way to satisfy a crafty addiction, than be part of a swap group! This tag swap is through Scrappingclearly! I love having the excuse to make another tag, I just love working on a smaller than normal canvas. It's fun! Each month, our group is given a moodboard to inspire us for our tag. Here is the September one:
Conveniently, I had just purchased some African animal stamps from Kaszazz, and had this gorgeous Zebra stamp, I knew would have to go on my tag somewhere!
I started by adding some acrylic paint to a plain, white tag, by swiping, magenta and white with a sponge!
I then mixed some silver and white paint together to make a grey, and popped that through a Dusty Attic Stencil.
I used a small, leafy tree branch stamp, also from Kaszazz, and some Staz On ink for a little contrast around the edge.
I love using gauze in my projects, particularly tags. I coloured a piece with some Distress ink and water! Just a touch of Glossy Accents or similar glue and some fluffing about to adhere it to the bottom of the tag!
My finishing touches, are a few little RAKS I received from a friend, the lace flowers and gorgeous flower brads. I am a fan of the Tim Holtz word stickers , and they usually always get a look in on my tags!!
Lastly, I coloured the ribbon, with the Kaszazz alcohol ink Art Markers, they work a treat!!! (The stripes on the Zebra are also coloured with the Art Markers!!!

Scrappingclearly September Cybercrop
I'm so excited. The September Scrappingclearly Cybercrop is happening now! All day today and tonight, myself and other Design Team members will be uploading challenges and inspiration to keep you busy crafting all weekend. You have extended time to finish all the challenges. My challenge is a Mixed Media Tag challenge, and I would like to see everyone use feathers and paint on their tag! Here is my tag and some close ups!
To create my purple background, I dabbed some acrylic paint on my craft sheet & sprayed with water, then dragged the tag through, for a soft, subtle effect!
Next,I used a chevron stencil, from Kaszazz , with a white Dylusions paint marker. My turquoise paint circles were made using my finger to paint through a Heidi Swapp, circle stencil, with some acrylic paint. I then traced around them with the paint marker.
I added some background stamping with a graph stamp, and some texture, using pieces of a napkin with text on it, and some Soft Gloss gel to adhere! There's also some gauze on there, and a few pretty orange and purple feathers!
The twine is from Kaszazz, I love this stuff! The Dylusions Bird stamp is one of my favourite and comes in a set!!! I coloured him in with some Kaszazz, alcohol ink art markers. I did some bordering with a Black Dylusions paint marker, added some Tim Holtz word stickers, some ribbon, and if you can see in the image below, I added some, 'Bling', Colour Paste, through a stencil!!! It is soo blingy, photo doesn't do it justice!
Thanks for looking and I hope you find some time to play along!!!

Scrappingclearly DT project for September moodboard!
Hi everyone, I'm up on the Scrappingclearly Blog today with my take on this fabulous moodboard!
My layout uses the Crate Paper, Open Book range, and a little touch of Shimelle, Starshine!!! But of course, there's also some Heidi Swapp on there! (Stickers and wood veneer!) There's some Studio Calico wood veneer also!
This is about my daughter's personality and how she makes the most of every moment, either being goofy, singing, dancing, making up funny poems & the list goes on! She is a teenager who challenges me every day, but I love her to bits and hope she never changes!!
I added some watercolour on the background and gave it a few flicks of Heidi Swapp Color Shine & added some subtle embellishments. (Prima flowers, Studio Calico Sequins!)
I finished off with a Gold acetate word from Heidi Swapp, love these!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Exciting day at Kaszazz Team Training!
So yesterday was our Team Training day and New product release for Kaszazz. I was so exited, as I had been holding on to a secret for a few months. Kaszazz invited me to create a project set that may feature in the new catalogue!!! I am happy to say that 2 out of 3 projects are in the catalogue and my scrapbook layout, is also in the system now as a workshop, with the other two!
It's always a thrill to be published, this was no exception!!!! Here is a pic of the matching layout, and all 3 are now up on the Kaszazz website ready to be chosen by consultants to teach as workshops!!
Thanks for visiting, and if you would like to know more about Kaszazz or any of their products, please don't hesitate to ask, via email, tan.dave@bigpond.com.

Scrappingclearly September sketch
Happy Saturday everyone!!! I love being a Design Team member, it opens up so many possibilities and sometimes challenges me to move a little outside my comfort zone and try new things. Well this month's sketch at Scrappingclearly, is designed by me. The first one I have ever done, and I have to say it's a little addictive!! I have lots of experience with layers in Photoshop and thought I would use that. As it turns out, I am exploring the mountains of possibilities within Microsoft Word, and that's where I created this sketch!
Here is my take on the sketch, using the gorgeous Starshine range, by Shimelle and American Crafts.
I love working with a sketch, it makes life so much easier when scrapping. I've cut alot of my embellishments from the patterned papers, there's a few little wood veneers from Studio Calico on there & some Heidi Swapp and Carolees Creations alphas.
Can you notice the shiny Colour Blast Colour Paste stars on there?? I made my own stencil for those, see below!!
Thanks for looking!!!
Have a great day!!!

Guest Designer for Kraft Plus September challenge
How excited do you think I was, when the lovely Sandra, from Kraft Plus invited me to be a Guest Designer this month. I was more than thrilled. I love playing along with their challenges!
They have the most beautiful moodboard this month for the Melon Colour challenge! It looks like this:
I fell in love with it, but immediately went into panic mode when I thought about what I would do with it. As it turns out, it all fell into place, and I came up with this:
I loved this Selfie pic I found on my daughter's Instagram feed, and I will take a screenshot of any that I like! It's getting harder to get pics of my kids these days, so this one was a great find!
I Gessoed my background and then went over it with some watercolour paints in the melon colours of the moodboard. I did the same in the bottom right corner.
My papers are cut from Amy Tangerine's Rise and shine 6x6" paper pad, the cute cut file is from Cocoa Vanilla Studio, and there's a D-Lish Scraps doily there. Finished it off with some cute little rhinestones from Scrap Matrix and some cute pink alphas from Heidi Swapp!
Thanks for looking!

Silly me thought how good am I getting in with my challenge entry for Kraft Plus, on the last day of the month!!!! Well, more fool me, because I forgot to link up on their blog didn't I.......
Anyway, just want to say how much I adore playing along with Kraft Plus and their challenges every month!!!
Here's my tag anyway!!!! Love the Kraft tags which I get from Kaszazz!!!
I love the Dusty Attic Script stencil I used with some texture paste on the background!!!
I added a bit of colour with Distress paints and a water spray, then a flick of some Heidi Swapp colorshine. My flowers are a mix of leftovers in my stash, and I'm happy to say, I made my own tassel! There's a couple of sweet embellishments from my friend Vicki, over at Scrap matrix, some left over chipboard from Kaszazz, some Kaisercraft droplets and the leaves are from one of the Cocoa Vanilla cut files!

Scrap the girls Design Team layout- CRAZY YOU
It's the 1st of the month, which means a brand new challenge reveal over at Scrap the girls!!!! This month, we have a sketch for you to play along with, which looks like this:
I am really loving all the sketches and moodboards for inspiration, and this one was no exception. I knew I wanted to do a stamped background, so I started off with the Kaszazz, Mandala Stamps in Black and Watering Can Archival Inks. The tiny little bubble stamp has been in my stash for a long time and it got a new lease of life from stamping it in little clusters!
My watercoloured effect comes from using Distress Inks and water, with a watercolour brush. Love all the different colours and versatility with Distress inks! I also dabbed a Distress Paint dabber a few times on there.
My patterned papers used are: 7 Dots, Heidi Swapp, Crate paper and Authentique. My die cuts are: Kaisercraft Collectables, and an old journal spot from D-Lish Scraps, which is hidden behind the photo, with a little Kaszazz twine.
I painted my 2 Crafty, chippy title with Dylusions Paint, love how the colours stand out.
