I am thrilled to be featured on The Big Picture Classes Blog, as Stacy's Pick this week. I was over the moon when Stacy emailed me to ask if she could feature my card from Carissa Wiley's Inspiration Ignited class. You may have seen the project below on my blog, but if not here it is again!!!!

Kraft Plus Challenge for May
Well, I've accomplished a double layout and a single so far this week. Feeling chuffed. I actually struggled with double layouts, well still do really, but am challenging myself to push through and step out of my comfort zone, thanks to my friend Vicki at Scrap Matrix. I'm teaching at the Scrap Matrix studio, and have done a few doubles now, and it's amazing how many pics you can fit on a double layout if you try!! So getting my stories told faster is a great feeling!
Today I have a single layout here, which is for the Kraft Plus month of may challenge. Here's their gorgeous mood board:
And I was inspired by the colours firstly, I love orange, and i also love the books and the beads in the bracelet, i think I have incorporated quite a few of the elements as inspiration.
The photos are from our 2012 trip from NT to SA in our camper trailer. The place was COWELL, and we loved it. Dave always makes sure the kids have fun and if there's a playground a swing or anything else to find adventure, we will go, see and do!!!

Kaszazz Team Training Day
Had a fab day today with some fellow Kaszazz Consultants for Team Training Day. My challenge entry came 1st, so I'm more than happy about that. I did a Project Life spread , with some of my hand-made PL cards, inspired by a class I took at Big Picture Classes. Here's my page:
I made the Project Life cards using a stencil and some Matte Gel medium and gesso mixed with acrylic paints. Then sprayed some Dylusions through the stencil for another layer. Here's the cards up close.

A couple more projects inspired by Big Picture Classes lessons!!!
I'm really loving my membership over at Big picture Classes. I love that I have all these classes to choose from for such a small payment each month. The inspiration is amazing, so many cool teachers!!! Love all the choices of projects too. I can choose from cards, scrapbooking, art journalling and more, whatever my mood is, there's something to inspire me!!!! So here's a couple more cards I did this week!
The first card was about using build it up stamps, which I don't have an actual set of, so I just found a really large Grant Archival set in my stash and used a few of the cool little flourishy ones! I used Colorbox inks in some Spring colours.
The 2nd one was about finding inspiration in art, stationery or decor, or everyday! I found this cool tissue box while doing the shopping and had a play at circles. I used a cork and some Dylusions and Heidi Swapp Color Shine to stamp the circles and then watercolour paints in the middle. I also layered a die cut sentiment and embossed it with gold 3 times which I'm kind of in love with the results.

A little Inspiration using Paint Chips
Hey there! Today I'm going to share a couple of simple little tips, in how you can use up all of those paint chips you've been collecting from the hardware store! (Come on, I know you have some!!! I have loads, and have been known to head to Bunnings, just in search of more paint chip colours.) At first I was disappointed when I couldn't get any more variegated ones, but have now found a few cool things you can do with the square ones!!!
My first thought was to stack a few together and use them as a reference for all of my Punches. Simply punch out a few designs on each card, and then you can keep them handy for inspiration when using your punches in your projects. they are made from sturdy card, so they should last awhile, and you can hang them near your craft desk!
So then I got to thinking, that these punched shapes looked great and I could actually use them as home made stencils for my inks, spray mists and texture mediums, just like a store bought stencil! (I am still hanging on to some cool, variegated ones!)
Cool Hey?? I've got a few more ideas and there's loads on Pinterest. I even started a Pinterest board dedicated to Paint Chip ideas...
I'll be back another day with a cool idea my Hubby and kids came up with!

Two challenges down for national Scrapbooking Day (weekend)
So this challenge was inspired by the lovely Natalie Elphinstone over at Big Picture Classes. It was to create a stamped background on your project! i have so many stamps in my collection and sometimes it actually becomes too overwhelming to use them. However, this weekend I have worked a bit more on organising and cataloguing them. (I started that job awhile ago, but good to do a bit more.) And the bonus is, you remember all those great stamps you have forgotten about and use them!!!
Here's my card!
I'm happy to say it's a male card too, I find I'm a bit slack with male projects and I need to be a bit fairer with my layouts where my kids are concerned. It's just so much easier to do girly stuff. But I am challenging myself to get some more boy layouts done of my little man!!!
Products used: Kaszazz stamps, cardstock, and twine. Flutterby Designs flair, Distress markers, Dyslusions spray, and a tiny little clothes peg!

First challenge complete National Scrapbooking Day
Finished my first challenge for Big Picture Classes. This was challenge 3, create a water colour background. I did mine with Distress inks spritzed with water and then a layered stamped background.I sprayed some Dylusions on my acrylic block and used a circle stamp to add another layer. The papers are yummy Amy Tangerine, Stitched and Rise and Shine paper stacks. I added some hidden journalling in a cute little stick on envelope from EK Success, and I am happy to say, that's been in my stash for years....and finally used!
I love building layers with stamps and stencils, and I really love this colour scheme! I am def. in a yellow and orange mood today! TFL.
